FORT WORTH, TEXAS
iNDUSTRIAL LOFT MAKEOVER
2018
This efficiency loft in an historic building near downtown Fort Worth was just too plain for the new Owner. It was cold, monotone, and lifeless. It did not reflect the personality of the bachelor who asked Stark Design Studio to reimagine the space and make it unique.
Stark Design Studio rearranged the floor plan, removing a huge peninsula from the kitchen and replacing it with a stylish dining table that was lifted up to be kitchen counter height. This allowed the kitchen to extend around the living space giving the much needed room for seating and entertaining.
SDS provided general contracting services to the client and coordinated the reconstruction of the space. Interior design services were also provided by SDS that included finish selections and colors, and furniture selection and procurement. Automation was provided to make sure this new bachelor pad had the cool, convenient features of any custom home on the market.
The final result was a warm, vibrant and livable space that the Owner loves. The downtown views are spectacular from this 3rd floor, 1,204 square foot one bedroom loft. Two huge walk in closets provide plenty of storage and allows for one of the huge closets to double as a small study. Stark Design Studio was able to create a very unique home that makes the Owner excited to come home to after a day at the office or when he entertains guests in his Near Southside home.
